This is an anime only discussion post. Do not discuss the manga beyond the episode.

Although I can appreciate the dramatic overtones, and hope that the series may follow that direction more strongly, this series just isn't doing it for me at the moment. Although his conquests may be different characters every time, so far the format has been more or less the same. It's unfortunate, as I kind of just surfaced out of a stage where I probably would have enjoyed this anime quite a bit.

That's not to say I hate it by any means, it's more so just criticisms at this point in time. Still, it got green-lighted for a 2nd season - so it must be doing something right.

It's obviously selling a lot in Japan if it's going to get a S2, that doesn't mean it has to be good to sell a lot. :P
But yeah, I can see the approach they're trying to take, I just hope in future episodes they focus more on parodying visual novels. Which was the point of the series, I thought.

Actually, it sold like trash. But this was because it was competing with OreImo at the time, which was the season's favourite at that point.

S2 got greenlighted based solely of the preview screening or something, didn't it?

He meant green lighted as in another season worth of this series in Japan.

Why anyone would want to BUY Ore Imouto I just do not know.

I for one would end up smashing the disk in absolute rage.

Going downhill, I'll be honest. Getting a bit boring.

Love the music though, all of Kanon's songs have been great so far.
