+ Screenings :: POWA Screening 19th February - 7.101

This week, Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches is up for it's monthly vote! Only active members can decide the fate of our Comedy series in our lineup. Will it stay, or will it go? We'll find out this week!

February is jam packed with events for POWA. From outings to see Yugioh: The Dark Side of Dimensions at Event Innaloo, to the Garden of Sinners Screening 1 (18+ EVENT) on the 25th (https://www.facebook.com/events/470986253289351/), there's so much to enjoy other than our usual weekly screenings!

Doors open at 2:30pm, but be sure to arrive at ECU Joondalup's Room 7.101 before 3:00pm to avoid missing out on any episodes.

+ Events :: POWA at Madman Anime Festival - Volunteers and Discount Codes!

Madman Anime Festival - Perth 2017 is just around the corner! We will not be having our usual screening during this event (4th-5th March) as POWA will be at this convention! Akagi, Re:Zero, and JoJos all withstood the mighty force of the monthly vote, and this week, it's Engaged to the Unidentified on the chopping block.

February is a busy month for POWA. Thanks to Madman, we are heading to Event Innaloo to check out the new Yugioh film on Monday 6th (https://www.facebook.com/events/1825022471086712/), and our first Garden of Sinners screening is happening on the 25th (https://www.facebook.com/events/470986253289351/).

It may not feel like it in Perth, as eggs fry on the footpath and sunscreen sales skyrocket, but it's Winter...well, for anime at least.

Join POWA for our first screening event of 2017, and experience a preview of what's on offer this anime season!

+ Events :: Youth Screening - Kiki's Delivery Service - Joondalup Public Library - 13th January

POWA Anime Club brings you the miraculous wonder of Kiki's Delivery Service for ages 7 to 12 at Joondalup Public Library this Friday afternoon. (broomsticks optional)

If you know friends or family who would love this heart warming classic film about friendship, courage and finding your own strength, this is an event not to miss! This also serves as a great introductory film for those new to anime.

DATE: Friday 13th January
TIME: 2:30pm - 4:30pm
LOCATION: Joondalup Library, 102 Boas Avenue, Joondalup
