POWA’s regular weekly screenings come to an end for 2020!

It’s been a rough and tumble year for all of us, but POWA hopes to finish things off with a bang, celebrating the anime we watched and the memories we shared. We’ll be having a special Come to POWA early this week to share our favourite clips and moments in a 2020 Retrospective.
We also can’t forget the holiday season and will doing our yearly Pass the Parcel during our long break. With tons of prizes up for offer, we hope to make thank everyone for making the year a memorable one.

Not to ignore our regular screening schedule, “Durarara!!” will be up for its second vote to decide if it stays in our line-up and the idol journey “Zombieland Saga” will be coming to an end. Look forward to our return in early 2021 where we’ll be starting up two new shows.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $3 for members and $4 for guests. However, your first time is free! We will be at Room 7.101, ECU Joondalup. The doors open at 12:00PM for the Come to POWA Early event, but our regular screening will start at 3:00PM.

POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue, with our penultimate event of the year!

With three new shows voted into our line-up, POWA is entering the final stretch of the year with a bang. Come on down as we reach the second episodes of ‘Ascendance of a Bookworm’, ‘Yona of the Dawn’ and ‘Psycho-Pass’.

While we had a dramatic (but surprisingly wholesome) finish to our Sports show ‘Hanebado’ last week, the Committee has elected to hold off on starting a new show with two screenings left. Instead, we’ll work on finishing up our Comedy, ‘Zombieland Saga’, allowing for two new shows to be voted on when we return from break next year.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $3 for members and $4 for guests. However, your first time is free! We will be at Room 7.101, ECU Joondalup. The doors open at 2:30PM, but the screening starts at 3:00PM, leaving time for you to get settled and buy drinks and snacks.
