Let’s try this one again!

Yes, last weekend, a heatwave and uncooperative air conditioning forced the City of Joondalup Library have to shut the weekend of our screening, leaving us without a space to screen our shows.

But that’s fine; this week, we are moving ahead with our schedule! So, yes, last week’s episodes are now this week’s episodes, so don’t worry if you think you missed out.

This week, POWA sees the end of what has been quite a journey, With Scifi Series Trigun reaching its final episode. Yes, last screening Vash walked off into the sunset, with his ideals of Love and Peace put to the test – what will the outcome be? I bet you all cant wait to see!

Super Cub, our Slice of Life/Romance series, had its second and final vote last screening too, one which it survived, meaning that it will be in the club until its end in a few weeks’ time. On the topic of voting, both xxxHolic – our Mature, Horror & Thriller – and Chihayafuru season 2 – our Drama – reach their first votes this week, so it’s a good opportunity to buy or renew memberships and have your say in what our line-up looks like!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $5 for members and $6 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

3:45 – Lycoris Recoil – Episode 3 (Action & Sports)

4:15 – xxxHolic – Episode 4 (Mature, Horror & Thriller, Voting!)
