Anyone else remember going to club? Well, it won’t be a distant memory this weekend as POWA is screening again! POWA has had to miss the last few weekends due to a variety of festivals and conventions on in Perth, but that’s all done for the moment, so back to the Library we go for more of our regular screening!

This week brings with it a buncha voting; our Drama, “Chihayafuru Season 2” and our Mature, Horror & Thriller, “xxxHolic” have both reached their third, episode 12 vote, while our Fantasy, “Why Raeliana Ended up at the Dukes Mansion” reaches its second, and final, episode 8 vote. And, just as a reminder, last screening our Comedy “My Senpai is Annoying!” survived its first, episode 4, vote, so that stayed in our lineup.

Looking a bit into the future now – the Crunchyroll distributed film “Haikyuu: The Dumpster Battle” enters cinemas on the 30th – and the cinemas have been nice enough to post their screening times well in advance, so a poll for that outing will go up around the same time as this event; keep an eye on our Facebook group for that!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
