This week has the return of POWAs fan-favourite AMV spectacular session!

During this week’s screening, time has been set aside to enjoy a number of AMVs provided by the POWA community – if youre one for sharing your favourite musical montages, but have yet to actually do so, you can get them in by going here and filling out the form!

This AMV session will take place in the middle of our regular screening, in place and during our regularly scheduled break.

Speak of which, that break is longer than normal, since last week out Action & Sports series Lycoris Recoil reached its final episode; while this would normally mean a round of voting for a new series this week, POWA will not be screening the weekend of the 30th because of Supanova. Rather than get a new show in only to not watch it because of a missed weekend, we thought it better to use the time for more AMVs!

Of course, we are still seeking replacements for our Action & Sports series. Threads are already up on Facebook and Discord, and the suggestions form on powaclub.com is always ready to take your submissions.

And, finally, speaking of voting – this week has the second, and final, vote for our Comedy series My Senpai is Annoying!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
