All our voting is done for the moment at POWA – at least, for this week. Because last week saw the introduction of not one, but two new series!
POWA’s lineup now features a new Scifi series – The post-monster apocalypse with a little more going on under the hood series “DECA-DENCE!” managed to win its way to the top of its vote – a trait it shares with our new – and returning, from POWA years past – Mature, Horror & Thriller, season 2 of the POWA favourite, the Dystopian Cyberpunk future of “Psycho-Pass”!
So, while these new series and our current lineup continue on counting episodes, one series reaches its end this week – our Comedy series “My Senpai is Annoying” reaches its final episode. While it is always sad to see a series go, it is always equally exciting to start looking for a replacement Slice of Life & Romance series!
And while Comedy suggestion threads are ready to go, it should be noted for everyone that the weekend screening after this wont feature a replacement, as next week’s screening will have its spot taken by POWA’s Summer 2024 Seasonal Preview – all the details for that will be posted under its own event to come!
Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
