Clear Blue Skies, trips to the beach and a dry heat abound! Somewhere else than locally, sure, but that does mean that it is just about time for the Summer Seasonal Preview!

So POWA is taking it upon ourselves to bring to you a selection of what shows are airing this season – and there’s always a variety of shows for us to bring forward – everything from multi-lingual Tsundere RomComs to whatever that one Deer show with that earworm opening song could be best summarized as, as well as a few fantasy Isekais for some variety!

What shows, specifically, we are planning on screening is something we like to keep close to the chest, but there will surely be something to entertain anyone and everyone who arrives!

And, as always, after the screening itself ends, POWA moves onto Discord to keep the anime going with even more shows – ones that we couldn’t fit into our schedule at the library itself! This “After Party” will take place in one of our Voice Chat rooms, with a shared screen to assist those who want to sync up their own streams and watch along. The schedule for the shows to be screened at the After Party will be made available at the conclusion of the in-person event, allowing people a chance to get their streaming services active again.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
