Back to our regularly scheduled screenings as POWA races towards the end of the year.
First of all, two big thanks – first, to those who came to POWA’s Fall seasonal preview, and second of all, thanks to those who came to POWA’s AGM and Election last weekend.
As always, it is worth stating that if you were unable to attend POWA’s AGM but still want to know what happened, you can request the minutes of the meeting, or simply get in contact with POWA’s committee for a bit of a clue-in.
Those are the past, though – what about this screening? Well, last screening we did vote in a new series – actually, a returning series, as POWA has voted in the sequel to “86” – in “86 Part 2” as our new Mature, Horror & Thriller series!
This week also brings with it a brand spanking new Fantasy series – what one, we don’t yet know, as only those with active POWA membership get to really have a say in what gets voted in this weekend!
Finally, POWA has a final screening date for you – POWA will end its 2024 year on December 15th! We will be back in the new year, though precisely what day is still being planned. Please keep an eye on all your social feeds for more information!
Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
