After something like the 9th weekend in a row where POWA has screened on a raining Sunday, this time… won’t be different, probably. I don’t know where I’m going with this, I just need an opening paragraph.

Anyway, LAST WEEK, well, we had a little bit of voting! Our Fantasy series, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, reached its first, episode 4 vote. After surviving that vote, it was smooth sailing for the rest of the lineup – but this week has another go at our ongoing series!

First, our newest show in our line up – the Slice of Life/Romance series “My Room Mate is a Cat” reaches episode 4, getting its first vote, while on the entire opposite end of the spectrum in just about every way, our Mature, Horror & Thriller series “Vinland Saga” reaches its final, episode 20 vote.

If you’re interested in having a say, you’ll of course, need membership – thankfully, if you wanna buy in, or need to renew, this weekends’ screening will also be offering our convention discount for memberships – half off!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
