POWA invites all those interested in a bit of boardy fun to the library on Saturday, 14th February, and join the group for some dice rolling, card flipping, rules reading, rules forgetting, rules lawyering goodness!

POWA is planning a few of these sort of events over the 2026 committee year, but to start us off, we are keeping it simple: Board Games.

Cards, dice, boards, if its something you can bring along, bring it! There is no structure to this event, so long as it involves enjoying a game with the group.

That said, if you are planning on bringing something you consider a bit more involved than the average board game – whatever that might be – drop by the Discord and start a discussion about it! Get people interested, maybe share the rules or a tutorial, and let people know that you’re bringing it. 

Entry to this event will be free. POWA will also not be selling food or drink at this event – while the library does offer water bubblers and have vending machines, if you seek something a bit more tasty or filling, feel free to run for lunch!

And POWA will also be screening the day after – February 15th – so make sure to keep that on your schedules as well.
