POWA Enters the era of me not misspelling “February” a different way this week, but for all other appearances, we continue as normal! 

Our Cultural & Historical series, “Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf” survived its halfway point vote challenge last time at POWA, so we continue that particular fantasy wandering-around-doing-adventures-and-stuff show. 

But what about one of the other ones? Well, Frieren: Beyond Journeys End hits episode 20 this week, and as such, another vote. Does POWA have too many “Wandering-around-doing-adventures-and-stuff” anime in our lineup? Is Frieren the straw that breaks that proverbial camel’s back? Well, POWA decides when we vote on it this week.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
