Last week on POWA, we had a vote on our ongoing Fantasy series – Frieren: Beyond Journeys End, when we finished its 20th episode. While not its last vote, as it is a 28 episode series, we did manage to decide among ourselves that we will give it at least 24, when it passed its vote.

This week brings the halfway point vote for Vinland Saga: Season 2, our ongoing Mature, Horror & Thriller series. I’m sure that all the scheming and backstabbery going on in this viking kingdom means nothing, but the POWA membership will get a say in whether or not we watch more of the series to just make sure it all goes fine.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
