Had a good break everyone? Good, now we are all refreshed and raring to go for more anime! 

Last time we had a regular screening we had plans to make ourselves a new Action & Sports series, but had some issues in doing so. We kicked that can down the road, and wouldn’t you know it, that can is now in front of us again. So this week we (absolutely will) vote on our new Action & Sports slot!

In other voting related news, last screening we also voted on our ongoing Cultural & Historical series “Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf”, which it did pass, leading us right into the pyrite arc! New rule: Everyone at the club must love pyrite. I just think it’s neat. To catch everyone else up on the other shows in our lineup; 

In “Handyman Saitou in Another World” they introduced a dog, introduced a second dog, killed the second dog, introduced a third dog, and are threatening to kill the second and third dog. They also killed the Wizard. 

In “Vinland Saga Season 2” we learn that all my assurances that its all ‘going to be fiiiine’ were just clever misdirects, and it is, in fact, not all fine.

And in “Frieren: Beyond Journeys End”, someone opened a large door in the bottom of a dungeon and immediately had to ask the most dangerous question possible when raiding a dungeon: “Why do I hear Boss music?”

This week we also have voting on our Fantasy series “Frieren: Beyond Journeys End”. In fact, since its approaching its end, it’s the last vote! Shoulders at the ready for whether or not shes going to continue the journey! 

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
