Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel II POWA Movie Event, March 30th

POWA goes on another theatre outing to see the second movie in the Fate/Stay Night: Heaven’s Feel trilogy. The movie will begin screening at 4:30PM at Event Cinemas Innaloo.

As we cannot book ahead, we cannot guarantee seats in the cinema. Ensure that you arrive early enough to purchase your tickets at the counter so you don’t end up disappointed.

“A new war has started again in Fuyuki City, 10 years after the previous Grail War. However, due to the participation of Zouken Matou, things begin distorting, twisting, and growing worse.

Zouken summons the Servant, True Assassin, and an unknown shadow begins to cover Fuyuki City, killing Masters and Servants one by one.

Shirou Emiya has been fighting as a Master in the Holy Grail War, but gets injured and loses his Servant, Saber. Despite this, he refuses to leave the battle and makes a firm decision to protect Sakura, who gets entangled in her own fate as a mage.

However, their fervent wishes are about to be crushed by the black shadow soon…”

Screenings

Come to POWA Early, 31st March 2019

Location: ECU Joondalup Room 7.101

The last day of the month brings us our Come to POWA early event – and as voted by the members of the club, this event will be focused on board games. Attendees are asked to bring any board games, card games or similar group games to share with the club.

After the end of the early event, we start on our regular screening – now started off by our new Fantasy series, “Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash.” There is no voting for any our series this week, but we have arrived at the final few episodes of Konohana Kitan and Mob Psycho 100.

Room 7.101 will be used at ECU Joondalup – Doors will open at 12:00, with the regular screening to start at its usual time of 3:00. Drinks, Snacks and POWA Membership – which is required for voting on our screened series – will be available for purchase during the entire event.

POWA Screening, 24th March 2019

Location: ECU Joondalup Room 7.101

Fair sails to Kantai Collection last week, as our Sci-Fi’s slot reached its final episode. Meaning this week’s screening will feature a new Fantasy series! The suggestion thread is already up – make your suggestions known either on the POWAClub Facebook thread or via the POWAClub website.

Last week also saw Snow White with the Red Hair passed its first vote, but this week March Comes in Like a Lion reaches its own first vote.

Active POWA Membership is required if you want to cast a vote on whether you want to continue a series, and for casting votes on new shows in our lineup. Make sure your membership is up to date.

We will be using room 7.101 at ECU Joondalup. Doors will open at 2:30, with the screening to start at 3:00 – Leaving time for attendees to purchase snacks, drinks or membership and to get settled.
