Second last screening of the year for POWA this week!

And, as it happens, it is the last episode of our Slice of Life/Romance series “My Roommate is a cat”!

Now, to make life a bit easier and more contiguous for us all, we will be delaying replacing it with a new series until the new year. Keep an eye out over the break for its replacement threads!

And, for those keeping track at home, Frieren passed its third, episode 12 vote. Will Vinland Saga Season 2 pass its first? You decide!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

Only a few weeks left of the POWA year, now, but until our christmas break we have more anime for everyone!

To catch people up on the last couple weeks, we have had a bit of a break from our normal schedule due to the AGM and the Fall seasonal preview, but this week we are back on topic!

Which features a brand new series; last time, we voted on a new Action & Sports series, and the POWA Community picked the Sentai Isekai “The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer in Another World!” 

It’s a lot.

Our Cultural & Historical series “Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf” also had its first vote, which it has passed, leaving us stuck with Holo as much as Lawrence is – at least, until the new year, that is.

Thankfully, the week is a bit more straight forward – only one show, our Fantasy series “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End” reaches its third, episode 12 vote. Everyone gets to decide if we come back from our break – starting December 14th – to this, or a brand new Scifi series. Up to youse!
