POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

Last week, we started a new comedy show, the wacky adventures of an always annoyed psychic in ‘The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.’. We also decided to keep all three shows up for vote in our line up in unanimous votes; ‘Ascendance of a Bookworm’, ‘Yona of the Dawn’ and ‘Assassination Classroom’.

This week, we only have one show up for vote, our mature show ‘Psycho-Pass’. Also, a reminder that signups for our planned outing to Time’s Up Escape Rooms outing, as well as nominations for our AMV Spectacular are both open this week. March is looking like a busy month for POWA!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $3 for members and $4 for guests. However, your first time is free! We will be at Room 7.101, ECU Joondalup. The doors open at 2:30PM, but the screening starts at 3:00PM, leaving time for you to get settled and buy drinks and snacks.

POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

We’ll be starting early this week to do a viewing party for last week’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards. What better way to experience all the shocks and snubs than with a room full of fans that are certain they’re right!

Afterwards, we’ll move to our regular screening line-up. As our comedy series “Asobi Asobase” was unfortunately voted out last week (you can continue it yourself on Crunchyroll), we’ll be returning to an ancient POWA tradition – if a series is voted out in its first vote, the runner up from the initial deciding vote will take its place. As such, we’ll be starting a new comedy with “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.”, a series starring a powerful and sarcastic psychic.

We’ll also have a slew of voting this week. The double fantasies of “Ascendance of a Bookworm” and “Yona of the Dawn” with their second votes and the second season of “Assassination Classroom” with its first. Good luck to these shows, the competition is tough!

POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue! Be sure to check out our Board Game & RPG Event this Saturday.

Last week, a technical error on AnimeLab forced us to skip out on watching episodes of ‘Psycho-Pass’ and ‘Assassination Classroom’, so we’ll be catching up with them this week. On the upside, we made up for it by entrenching the dub of ‘Ghost Stories’ into POWA canon.

This week, we’ll also be voting on whether to keep the degenerate trio of our comedy ‘Asobi Asobase’ in our line-up for its first vote. Members will also be deciding if our mature show ‘Psycho-Pass’ will be entering its second half in its third vote.
