POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

It will be a MASSIVE week of voting this week after saying goodbye to ‘Recovery of an MMO Junkie’ and ‘Symphogear’ as well as ‘Angels of Death’ sadly not surviving its second vote. While ‘Angels of Death’ can be continued at home on Crunchyroll, this means we’ll be looking for:
– A new Slice of Life, Romance & Arthouse show,
– A new Fantasy show,
– And a new Mature, Horror & Thriller show.
Check out our Facebook group for the suggestion threads for these slots in the coming days. You must be a POWA member to suggest shows and also to vote what show gets in during the screening.

In addition, we are happy to see ‘Zombieland Saga’ succeed in its final vote and continue to its conclusion. ‘Hanebado’ will also be finishing this week with the winner of Ayano and Nagisa’s match being decided!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $3 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! We will be at Room 7.101, ECU Joondalup. The doors open at 2:30PM, but the screening starts at 3:00PM, leaving time for you to get settled and buy drinks and snacks.

POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

We’ll be opening our doors early this week for a Come to POWA Early event. Returning to the tried and true formula of board games to play, we’ll also have the Nintendo Switch game ‘Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics’ hooked up to the screen. With dozens of multiplayer options for classic and oddball board games, we’ll have plenty of options to entertain ourselves.

This week, we’ll also be reaching the finales of both our sci-fi show ‘Symphogear’ and our slice of life ‘Recovery of an MMO Junkie’! While we wait and see if the heroines of both shows can make it through their (very different) final battles, keep in mind that we’ll be looking for new fantasy and slice of life show suggestions next week.
Additionally, both ‘Zombieland Saga’ and ‘Angels of Death’ will be going through a round of voting to decide if they will remain in our line-up.
