Location: ECU Joondalup Room 7.101
Thankyou to everyone who came down to the Amv Spectacular last week, both Sunday Without God and Tanaka-Kun is Listless both survived their final lot of voting which means that they will stay in until conclusion, we also voted in our new Sci-FI show Symphogear. We will also have voting on what our new sports slot show will be.We will be using room 7.101 at ECU Joondalup – doors will open at 2:30, and the screening itself will start at 3:00. Ensure you arrive early enough to buy snacks and food, as well as get settled.Sunday, August 30th we will be having our 3rd quarter gm that got delayed due to Covid-19. This will be an extremely influential GM for members to help decide the future of the club in both a micro and macro sense.
Micro in that you’ll be helping to decide what events and focuses we prioritise for the rest of the year. Macro in that you’ll be helping decide what form the club will be taking to survive past this year. While these sweeping changes can only be made during our AGM, the upcoming GM will decide how the committee will plan what it is needed to get to the AGM. Needless to say, we are hoping for as much member participation as possible for this event, and will stress the importance of this in the coming weeks. Because of how vital this is, the committee will work on ways for member participation to be possible if you are unable to attend, so stay tuned for that. As always, a POWA membership is required to attend our GMs.
