Important notice before the details of the event: POWA Will not be screening at the Library on May 4th or May 11th this year.
Event Location: Event Cinemas Innaloo
Time: Sunday, May 4th, 3:45pm
POWA is off to the cinemas to see the long time arriving to Australia release of “COLORFUL STAGE!”. Its time to see a certain song-less Miku on the big screen for the first time!
As always, POWA was polled, and a time was decided upon – this time, POWA chose the 3:45pm session at Event Cinemas Innaloo on Sunday the 4th of May.
Which is funny, because POWA would usually be screening at this time! No worries, though, POWA was unable to get the Library due to the Joondalup Festival of Motoring closing the Library this weekend, so instead, lets go to the Cinema!
“COLORFUL STAGE! The Movie: A Miku Who Can’t Sing is an animation film by studio P.A.WORKS featuring an all-new Hatsune Miku and the first film with the iconic Virtual Singer. Based on HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE!, a game about high school students finding their true feelings through music in an alternate world called “SEKAI” with the help of Hatsune Miku.
Ichika is a high school musician who can enter a mysterious place called “SEKAI,” where she and her friends express their innermost emotions through music alongside Hatsune Miku. One day after giving a live performance, Ichika meets a new Miku that she has never seen before. No matter how hard this new Miku tries to sing, she struggles connecting with the hearts of her listeners. Miku must rely on the
help of others to find a way to sing again.”
This movie is being distributed by our good friends at SugoiCo, who have been such darlings as to not only release the film in our country, but have also provided some passes! Yes, a few lucky POWA members will be able to get in free, all thanks to SugoiCo!
Standard movie going citations apply – POWA cannot guarantee seats in the cinema! If the film is extremely popular, you might find that there are no seats for your bum – so make sure you arrive at the cinema early enough to reserve your ticket, find the group, but snacks and drinks, and share Miku songs with the group. If you arrive late, we might have already moved into the cinema without you – so our Discord is a good way to coordinate efforts!
We hope to see you there!
