Trigun survives yet another vote, as it starts to pick up steam.
Uramichi Oniisan faces his first vote. Has his personality won us over?

Our Action series Akudama Drive is on its final episode. Action suggestions are now open on Discord, Facebook and our Website. Suggestions close Thursday 17th August at 6:00PM.

Last week we completed Kanon, which was our Drama anime. This week we will be switching over to Cultural/Historical with a vote!

Suggestion threads for Cultural/Historical are still open but are closing shortly! You may suggest on Discord, Facebook and our Website. Suggestions close Thursday 10th August at 6:00PM

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

POWA’s exciting weekly screenings continue!

Last week we took a break from our regular line up to experience some seasonal anime in our summer 2023 seasonal preview. It was a lot of fun to see the reactions and hear discussions about some of the latest anime airing.

This week we will return to our exciting weekly line up that POWA members have voted in. This week we have Trigun up for its second vote. Will Vash’s good luck streak continue?

We also sadly say goodbye to the tear-jerking Key drama series Kanon. As we watch the finale this week. Not to worry, another hopefully more cheerful show will take its place.

As we switch over to Cultural/Historical from Drama. Suggestion threads for Cultural/Historical are now open. You may suggest on Discord, Facebook and our Website.

Next week we have Uramichi-Oniisan’s first vote and the finale of Akudama Drive. Be on the lookout for Action suggestion threads.

POWA’s back with another look at anime currently airing in Japan!

This week we’ll be taking a break from our regular line up to experience some seasonal anime. We’ll be previewing five brand new shows from the Summer 2023 anime season.

This summer anime season is looking stronger than previous summers. With Zombies, a talking Vending Machine and a severed head supernatural detective. There’s more than enough to keep us interested!

It’s the perfect time to check out POWA while seeing the highs and lows of the season. What will you be watching?

We’ll continue the fun on our Discord server in a post-screening after-party, with watchalongs for shows that we couldn’t get to in the screening.
