POWA’s exciting weekly screenings continue!

Last week, POWA members voted on a new Slice of Life/Romance show. The voting was close with multiple series receiving good support. The winner was announced with pleasure. It was none other than Fruits Basket the Final Season.

This season is shorter than the previous one, at only 13 episodes. The last show we watched back to back was My Next Life as a Villainess. Including the OVA in late 2022.

There’s no voting this week, next week only Log Horizon is up for vote. As we draw close to finishing two other series and another round of voting, Only POWA members can vote on which shows are added, stay or go.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

Last week, POWA members voted to keep watching all four series up for voting. In particular Hinomaru Sumo and Comic Girls who survived their final votes. We also said sayonara and arigatou to Fruits Basket 2nd Season after 9 months! The only voting this week will be on a new Slice of Life/Romance show.

As a replacement for Fruits Basket 2nd Season, we are looking for suggestions in the Slice of Life/Romance category. Our Facebook page, website and Discord threads are all places where you can suggest! Fruits Basket: The Final Season will be receiving an automatic sixth slot nomination as we’ve completed its prequel. Get your suggestions in before Thursday, March 9th at 6PM.

POWA’s exciting weekly screenings continue!

Last week, POWA members voted to keep watching our Fantasy series Log Horizon, which will remain in our Database.

This week is yet another heavy round of voting. Four shows are up, they are Comic Girls, Hinomaru Sumo, Kanon and Claymore. Will all shows continue or will any drop!? you decide. Only active members can vote, so be sure your membership is up to date!

This week we also sadly see the conclusion of Fruits Basket 2nd Season. As a replacement for Fruits Basket 2nd Season, we are looking for suggestions for said SoL/Romance show. Our Facebook page, website and Discord threads are all places where you can suggest! Fruits Basket will be receiving a sixth slot nomination as we’ve completed it and a sequel is available.
