POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

A huge thank you to everyone who came to last week’s Seasonal Preview, both in-person and online. It’s always great to see a high turnout with the community coming together. Now on to what we’ll be doing this week…

Last time on POWA’s regularly scheduled screening, we finished up the insane comedy series ‘The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.’ While Saiki’s painful existence must continue, we will instead be looking for a new Comedy series to replace it! The suggestion thread is already open in our Facebook group, and the form of the website is always open for submissions.

Also this week, we’ll be voting to see if we’ll be finishing up the galactic battle contained within ‘Planet With’. Members will vote if we’ll tackle those last four episodes or move on to something new.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

3:45PM – In/Spectre – Episode 9 (Mature/Horror/Thriller)
4:15PM – Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor – Episode 3 (Sports/Games)
