POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

Last week was a week of continuation. While we voted to keep watching two shows – ‘Ascendance of a Bookworm’ and ‘Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song’, most surprising was the return of an old POWA favourite. In the Slice of Life/Romance/Arthouse slot, members voted in ‘Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S’, the second season of an anime we watched back in 2017!

This week, we have our Drama ‘WorldEnd’ up for voting as we enter into the final four episodes. The longer series, ‘Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor’ will be entering its second half if we vote to keep watching its new arc!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
