POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

After a small break, including the election of a new Committee at our AGM last week, POWA returns to our line-up of anime. Included this time around is our new Comedy series, ‘Comic Girls’ and a new Drama show that will be decided on the day. As a replacement for ‘Chihayafuru’, we are still looking for suggestions for said Drama show. Our Facebook page, website and newly created Discord threads are all places where you can suggest!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

2:00PM – Fruits Basket 2nd Season – Episode 18 (Slice of Life/Romance/Arthouse)
2:30PM – Log Horizon – Episode 10 (Fantasy)
3:00PM – Voting for new show, break & raffle draw
3:15PM – NEW Drama Series
3:45PM – Hinomaru Sumo – Episode 14 (Sports/Games)
4:15PM – Claymore – Episode 9 (Mature/Horror/Thriller)
