Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends – Outing

Location: Event Cinemas Innaloo
Date: Saturday February 11
Time: 4:00PM – 6:00PM

POWA has had a busy few weeks with cinema outings. So now’s a good time to unwind with the fan favourite romantic comedy series Kaguya-sama: Love is War. As we take a small break in our cinema outings until early March, when we go to see Demon Slayer!

Kaguya-sama: Love is War -The First Kiss That Never Ends-, is the first feature film in the franchise. The movie picks up right after the third season finale! So if you haven’t caught up you can do so on Crunchyroll!

Kaguya-sama: Love is War follows Student Council President Miyuki Shirogane and Vice President Kaguya Shinomiya and their cunning warfare to get the other to confess their love for the other first.

POWA has voted to go see it on Saturday, February 11th 4:00PM at Event Cinemas Innaloo, in the original Japanese. The movie starts at 4:00PM, but as we cannot book ahead, we cannot guarantee seats in the cinema. Ensure that you arrive early enough to purchase your tickets at the counter so you don’t end up disappointed.

The movie is described as such:

Shuchiin Academy’s student council room – the place where Vice President Kaguya Shinomiya and Student Council President Miyuki Shirogane met. After a long battle in love, these two geniuses communicated their feelings and, at the Hoshin Festival, had their very first kiss. However, there was no clear confession. The relationship between these two, who assumed they would be a couple, remains ambiguous. Now, overly conscious of their feelings, they must face the biggest challenge yet – Christmas. It’s Shirogane who wants it to be perfect versus Kaguya who pursues the imperfect situation. This is the very “normal” love story of two geniuses and the first kiss that never ends.
