Last week at POWA, two great things happened – in no particular order; first, POWA voted on on outgoing Mature, Horror & Thriller series “Vinland Saga: Season 2” and, perhaps reflecting the fact that the story is just going so perfectly fine, it was a vote that it passed, and POWA reached what is perhaps the narrative peak of all anime – we met the Corgi Ein in Cowboy Bebop.
This week we have at least one notable event – two, if you count there being more Corgi in Cowboy Bebop – in which our Comedy series “Handyman Saitou in Another World” reaches its final episode. Although as is typical of shows in POWAs comedy slots it does sometimes resemble more of a Drama than a pure comedy – how many times can a dog, small child, or old wizard die, anyway? – It looks like we will be sad to see it go. Still, with an empty comedy slot will come a new series for our lineup, which is always exciting!
