I don’t know what it is about the word “August” that really tells me that we are in the last third of the year, but that’s where we land this week.
After spending the last weekend in the present world of airing anime in our Summer seasonal preview, this time we are back to our regular lineup, with our newest old new show “The Apothecary Diaries Season 2”. Maomao has a cat, and yes, they named it Maomao, because Maomao is a cat, just like how Maomao is also a cat.
As for shows without cats, apothecaries, cats named after apothecaries, and apothecaries named after the sound cats make (making the cat named after the apothecary technically named after the sound it makes, should it decide to make noise), we also had a sneaky little vote on “Restaurant to Another World” – which not only allows me to practice my spelling of that stupid, stupid word – but also since it passed the vote, we are keeping on with that series until its conclusion.
Don’t worry about my spelling lessons, though, “Apothecary” is shaping up to be another one of those words that I just refuse to spell right the first time around.
I don’t know if anyone actually reads these posts, but WordPress lets me AI generate a ‘podcast’ which will summarise a month’s worth of posts as a podcast episode. I’m really just trying to get them to say stupid stuff now.
Oh, also, week is a little bit more chill for us, with the only point of order being a vote on whether or not to drop Cowboy Bebop on episode 12.
