Does anyone else remember when POWA used to do anime, or has it been too long?
After a bit of a diversion-slash-distraction through some sidequests for a particularly shiny cup (guarded by a series of absurdist encounters with everything from a Rabbit to a man named… Tim?) and a weekend off for the Evolve Pop-Culture Expo, POWA is back to its regular schedule of anime this week.
Well – some of it at least. Last time we did a regular screening, we actually reached some finales – our “Slice of Life/Romance” series “Restaurant to Another World” and our continuing “Fantasy” series “Frieren: Beyond Journeys End” both colluded and decided that there was just too many elves and demons in our lineup, and reached their conclusions.
Which means this week we got some voting to do! We are looking to replace both series with a new “Comedy” series and a new “Scifi” series! So, come along and vote!
