DanMachi: Arrow of the Orion – POWA Movie Outing 15th June

Location: Event Cinemas Innaloo

One of POWAs Top Ten series is getting its first theatrical film this week – “Is it Wrong to Try and Pick up Girls in a Dungeon?: Arrow of the Orion” is coming to theatres for one week only!

POWA has voted via Facebook Poll, and so a date and time is set – 6:30pm, Saturday the 15th of June. Due to its limited release, we will be viewing the film at Event Cinemas Innaloo.

POWA cannot reserve tickets or seats for this outing, so ensure that you arrive early enough to secure your ticket, as well as leave enough time for you to purchase any food or drink you might want before going into the cinema.

We hope to see you there!

“Bell and Hestia are at it again in an all-new adventure that goes far beyond the dungeons!

Far from Orario, in the ruins of an ancient city, a new threat arises. The goddess Artemis is searching for a champion to counter this threat, but it’s not one of the usual contenders that she chooses… it’s Bell Cranel, a newbie adventurer partnered with a low-tier goddess.”

Details for the Facebook event can be found here.

POWA Screening, 16th June 2019

Location: ECU Joondalup Room 7.101

Although voting was not to be seen last week, POWA did announce a large variety of upcoming events and planned events for the coming weeks. If you missed out on what was announced, or were not in attendance last screening, feel free to ask the POWA group on whats going on at this screening, on our Facebook page or on our official discord – now featuring Bots! If you are interested in our Discord, feel free to join it using this link: https://discordapp.com/invite/jF4A4tn

And while last week at POWA was quite uneventful on the front of voting, this week has a few quarterly votes – Both our Chill Out slots “K-On!” and our Action slots “Assassination Classroom” are up for their second vote – And as K-On! is only 13 episodes, this will be the final vote for our Chill Out series.

Only active POWA members have the right to cast votes on what series are screened at POWA – if your membership has lapsed, or you wish to purchase it for the first time, you are able to do so at the screening. POWA Membership will also net you free entry to our upcoming Nostalgia Box games day, so now is a good a time as any to join up.

We will be using room 7.101 at ECU Joondalup. Doors will open at 2:30, with the regular screening to start at 3:00. Drinks and snack foods will be available for purchase during the screening.
