No regular screening this Sunday as POWA has its first General Meeting of the 2019 committee. With a lot to look forward to in the upcoming year, there is a lot to discuss. We invite all members to join us as we go through what the POWA club is planning on in our near future.

The room will open at 12:00. We leave a large amount of time for discussion, but in the case that we finish early we will screen some additional seasonal preview material before our normal seasonal preview screening begins.

At 3:00PM, we ask that you join us for the first Seasonal Preview of the 2019 anime year. The Winter Line-up of anime looks like a good one – and so POWA brings you a variety of committee selected new series for your viewing pleasure.

Entry at this week’s event will be free, although no raffle prize will be on offer.

We will be using room 7.101 at ECU Joondalup. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase during the day.

We hope to see you there!

Welcome back, everyone!
Last week’s deluge of voting on almost every slot we have resulted in a sum total of zero shows being voted out of our line-up – but we do welcome the strange and trippy action slot “Mob Psycho 100” and our cute and fluffy Chill Out “Konohana Kitan” to our line up.

Kantai Collection survived it first vote, while our Mature and Drama slots “Coppelion” and “Kotoura-San” survived their last vote, meaning that we will be following them to their conclusion in the coming weeks.

We will be using room 7.101 at ECU Joondalup – Doors will open at 2:30pm and the screening will start at 3:00, leaving time for people to purchase drinks and snacks for the screening, as well as get settled.

We hope to see you there!

We’re back! Happy New Year!

POWA returns for the tenth year in 2019, and our regular screenings begin on the 13th. Our first regular screening brings with it a slew of voting – the first vote for our Sci-Fi “Kantai Collection” and our second, final votes for both our Drama’s “Kotoura-San” and our Mature’s “Coppelion.”

On top of all that, we also have voting for two new shows – we are looking for new series to fill both our “Chill Out” and “Action” slots. Ensure that your suggestions are made via the POWAClub.com website, or on the Facebook suggestion threads before the screening.

Make sure that your membership is still current if you want to have a say in what series we start screening and continue to stream. Membership will be available for purchase during the screening. We have a lot to vote on, so don’t miss out!

We return to room 7.101 at ECU Joondalup – Doors will open at 2:30 and the screening will start at 3:00, leaving time for people to purchase drinks and snacks and get settled.

We hope to see you there!
