Last Week? Voting on “Restaurant to Another World”. Which, it passed!

Meaning at least a minimum of 4 more opportunities for me to learn how to spell “Restaurant” without having to rely on the red squiggly line that appears under it every time I mention it. Oh, and we continue to watch it, too.

This week? More voting. We vote on our Action & Sports series “Cowboy Bebop”, on episode 8, and our Cultural & Historical series “Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf” reaches episode 24, so that also gets one last vote.

And though its not an official milestone, Vinland Saga continues to be absolute cinema.

Also, it is worth noting here if you actually read these events, but next week’s event – what would be the 28th of June – won’t be happening because Supanova is on that weekend. Your schedules are officially free, so enjoy!

This Week’s Schedule:

1:00 – Doors Open

1:30 – Restaurant to Another World – Episode 5 (Slice of Life/Romance)

2:00 – Frieren: Beyond Journeys End: Season 2 – Episode 3 (Fantasy)

2:30 – Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf – Episode 24 (Cultural & Historical, Final Vote)

3:00 – Break & Raffle

3:45 – Cowboy Bebop – Episode 8 (Action & Sports, Voting)

4:15 – Vinland Saga: Season 2 – Episode 22 (Mature, Horror & Thriller)

Location: Joondalup Library, Upstairs Meeting Room

Heeey, remember when I said that we were done with Frieren: Beyond Journeys End?

Well, you all made me a liar, because POWA voted to keep that silly elf train rolling, and instead of picking a new scifi series quite yet, we are continuing the journey with Frieren: Beyond Journeys End season 2!

In other voting news, two things of note: First, our Mature, Horror & Thriller series Vinland Saga: Season 2 continues to be present in our lineup after passing its vote last weekend, and this weekend we have the first vote on our Slice of Life/Romance series “Restaurant to Another World”

Something something winter, something something cold, something something anime.

Well, Frieren ended her journey in our lineup last week with the finale of her series, “Frieren Beyond Journey’s End”, which leaves this week with us picking a replacement series – more in a scifi-vein, at that.

We also gotta get some voting done on our Mature, Horror & Thriller series “Vinland Saga Season 2”, which reaches its 20th episode this week.

And that’s it for the text here!
