POWA’s exciting weekly screenings continue!

Last week we voted on three shows. They all managed to stay in.
We will be watching Akudama Drive and Kanon until completion. While Vash and Trigun managed to expertly dodge the first round of voting.

The time has come to say sayonara to Fruits Basket. A fan favourite at POWA, that will be sorely missed. To cheer us back up we will be voting in a new Comedy show next week. Comedy suggestion threads are available on Discord, our Website and Facebook. Please get your suggestions in before Thursday, 13th July at 6PM.

The Poll for our Psycho-Pass Providence movie outing is still open. The time and date will be decided the morning of our screening. So please get your votes in, if you haven’t yet. The link can be found here:

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

POWA’s exciting weekly screenings return after a week break!

During our last screening we voted in a new show. The winner was Hellsing in our Mature/Horror/Thriller category. Three shows total tied with six votes a piece. It was only fitting that another iconic gunslinger wearing a red coat joined our lineup.

Some more voting this week. Akudama Drive and Kanon reach their final votes. While Fruits Basket: The Final is about to reach its own climax next week. Trigun is up for its first vote, will Vash continually evade the bounty on his head?

POWA’s exciting weekly screenings continue!

Last week we said goodbye to Claymore after 26 episodes! How will the adventures of Raki and Clare unfold? Unfortunately Fruits Basket will be the next show coming to an end, in a few weeks time! Will we find happiness?

We are currently looking for a replacement for Claymore. We are taking “Mature/Horror/Thriller” suggestions with a thread on Discord. You can also suggest on the website and Facebook. Please get your suggestions in before Thursday, June 15th at 6PM.

During the break period, a Special General Meeting (SGM) will be held in order to vote for or against the proposed constitution revisions.
