The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie Outing

POWA is going to the cinemas to see the thrilling conclusion of the romantic comedy anime series ‘The Quintessential Quintuplets’.


The movie starts at 6:30pm, but as we cannot book ahead, we cannot guarantee seats in the cinema. Ensure that you arrive early enough to purchase your tickets at the counter so you don’t end up disappointed.


The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie is described as such:
When five lovely young girls who hate studying hire part-time tutor Futaro, he guides not only their education but also their hearts. Time spent has brought them all closer, with feelings growing within the girls and Futaro. As they finish their third year of high school and their last school festival approaches, they set their sights on what’s next. Is there a future with one of them and Futaro?

POWA Screening, 27th November 2022

Location: Joondalup Library, Upstairs Meeting Room

POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

After our Fall seasonal preview. Which was full of great shows, what are you watching? In what seems like a distant memory, POWA welcomed Kanon (2006) to our Drama slot. Replacing the obscure fan favourite Chihayafuru.

While there is NO voting this week. Next week sees us voting on FOUR shows. These shows include Comic Girls, Fruits Basket S2, Log Horizon and Hinomaru Sumo. Keep an eye out on what shows you’d like to continue watching. Only POWA members can decide if they should stay or go.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

POWA’s back with another look at anime currently airing in Japan!

Six brand new shows from the Fall anime season. The perfect time to check out POWA while seeing the highs and lows of the season. What will you be watching?
