There will be no POWA screening on Sunday 4th of March. Instead, we will be at the Madman Anime Festival.
As with any convention, our Madfest signup price will be $5 and you’ll have the chance to win some great prizes. You’ll be able to find us on the convention floor with our partners Little Robot and The Nostalgia Box.
Additionally, we will be presenting a panel and quiz both Saturday and Sunday with UWAnime on the Expo Stage. Saturday’s panel will be about the influence of video games on anime (and vice versa) while Sunday we’ll be talking about tropes, expectations and misconceptions in anime.
We hope to see you there and look forward to resuming our regular screenings the week after!
