POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue with an exciting Come to POWA Early event!

We’ll be starting early this week for a special event: our third annual AMV Spectacular. We’ll be watching a whole bunch of AMVs as submitted by our community. Submissions are still open until Thursday this week, so there’s still time to submit everything from high quality art edits to edgy Naruto AMVs.

After the AMVs, we’ll return to our anime line-up. Last week, we voted to keep watching our comedy series ‘The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.’ and our drama show ‘Durarara!!’. This week, we have another set of double voting for our red-headed fantasy ‘Yona of the Dawn’ and our increasingly thrilling action ‘Assassination Classroom’.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $3 for members and $4 for guests. However, your first time is free! We will be at Room 7.101, ECU Joondalup. The doors open at 12:00PM for the Come to POWA Early event, but our regular screening will start at 3:00PM, leaving time for you to get settled and buy drinks and snacks.
