POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue with our first screening of the New Year!

We hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season. POWA is hoping to welcome everyone back in strong form with a return to our weekly line-up of six awesome anime shows, including TWO new ones! As we finished two shows at the end of last year, both the Fantasy and Mature slots need replacements. Suggestion threads for these shows will soon be open on Facebook and the form on our website is always open.

We will also reach voting episodes for our Drama ‘WorldEnd’ and our ‘Sports/Games’ show ‘Kaiji’. All the more reason to make sure your membership is up to date – our community always decides the direction our line-up will go in.

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

2:00PM – Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle – Episode 6 (Comedy)

3:00PM – Break, voting for new Fantasy and Mature shows & raffle draw
3:15PM – NEW Fantasy Show
3:45PM – NEW Mature/Horror/Thriller Show
4:15PM – Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor – Episode 8 (Sports/Games, Voting)
