POWA’s regular weekly screenings continue!

Last week, we rushed to vote in TWO new shows. What we ended up with is the second season of ‘Ascendance of a Bookworm’ – a POWA favourite isekai from last year in our Fantasy slot, and ‘Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song’ – an epic tale of an AI trying to prevent a tragic future into our Mature slot. These two fantastic new shows were backed up by club members also deciding to continue watching both ‘WorldEnd’ and ‘Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor’. This is a hell of a line-up!

One important thing to note is that with current COVID laws constantly in flux in the Perth area (plus the upcoming border opening), POWA will have to abide by whatever rules appear. Currently, we are under an indoor mask mandate for instance. Please pay attention to both the news, and our announcements to keep up to date with the form our meetings will take. And most importantly – stay safe!

Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests. However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting room, of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.

3:45PM – Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song – Episode 2 (Mature/Horror/Thriller)
4:15PM – Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor – Episode 9 (Sports/Games)
