Location: Joondalup Library, Upstairs Meeting Room
Christmas is back in the shops, but not quite among us at POWA as of yet, though our time at the club this year nearly is.
To recap last week is an easy thing; unlike Wayne’s attempts to get his retirement sorted in “Genius Prince’s Guide to Raising a Nation out of Debt: How About Treason?”, which is something I bring up only so i can then say we reached episode 4 last weekend, and therefore, had a vote – which it passed.
“Cowboy Bebop”, which had a rather creepy clown manbaby serial killer guy in it that is much harder to segway into, also reached a milestone outside of a new height of “Weird” and “What was this episode about again?” when it reached episode 20 and, to the joy of fans of the show everywhere, passed its required vote.
And beyond the Space Scifi series we have on, we also have our Cyberpunk grimdark future of 2030 as seen in “Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex” on episode 4, getting its shot at the serial killer that is our voting base.
That all said, POWA has an upcoming AGM and Election. All the details for which can be found in that event, but if you are interested in being on the POWA Committee, we have also opened up nominations for a position. Reach out to us!
We hope to see you there!
