Hey, did we ever tell you about that time we went to see a film about someone who was reincarnated in another world?

…If we had a nickel…

Well, this time its for an outing to see the Slime Isekai’s latest film – and lead into what appears to be the final season of the anime – in “Tears of the Azure Sea”!

We are going to be seeing the film at Event Cinemas Inalloo on Friday, 1st of May, at 9:00pm. 

As always, POWA cannot guarantee seats in the cinema, so if you are late or the film is stupid popular, you might not get a ticket and a chair in the theatre. You are to feel free to purchase your ticket in advance, naturally. Similarly, if you’re late, you might have trouble finding the group and getting snacks and drinks, so we suggest everyone rock up early enough to beat the odds and meet up with the group. 

What’s this one about? Well, here’s the description pinched from someone else who wrote it:

“Kaien is an undersea nation whose people worship the Water Dragon as their guardian deity. Their ancestors lived among other clans on the surface long ago, but after wandering the earth in search of a land of peace and stability, they were blessed by the Water Dragon with a kingdom free of conflict. However, that peace would not last forever. Yura, the priestess who prays to the long-dormant Water Dragon, learns that someone is plotting to invade the surface in order to wake the Water Dragon, so she takes the flute that has been passed down in her clan for generations and heads for the surface to seek aid. When she arrives, she finds herself on a resort island in the domain of Elmesia, empress of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Thalion, and she meets Rimuru and his compatriots, who are enjoying a brief vacation after concluding their Nation’s Opening Festival. Rimuru’s gang accepts Elmesia’s request to accompany Yura to Kaien so they can help, but a conspiracy is already brewing under the sea… After the Water Dragon is awakened and turmoil breaks out over the flute, Yura’s hidden power comes to light. Can Rimuru and company protect the azure sea from the approaching threat and restore peace to Kaien?”

Event Location: Event Cinemas Innaloo

Another film, another poll, and another outing for POWA as its time to see what the latest is with Kobayashi’s dragon related insanity-slash-family!

The poll results are in – the session chosen for our outing is the 6:15 screening of the film, on Saturday, 21st February, at Event Cinemas Innaloo!

As usual, standard film atendance citations apply – POWA is not able to guarantee a seat in the cinema, so if you are concerned about the cinema being too full, ensure you either show up early enough to get a ticket well ahead of the crowd or pre-purchase your ticket in advance. We also recommend showing up early enough to buy snacks, tickets and the group before the film’s scheduled start time, as there will be no oen waiting outside for you if you are late.

In either case, it might be a good excuse to chuck some messages into our discord if you want to better coordinate – or discuss, since therell be a movie chatroom for us all.
